Mental Health Advocacy
The pandemic was a tumultuous jolt for me and many of my peers; we traversed back & forth from rock bottom to cloudy high. We learnt more about the jarring issue of mental illness across the world, especially among teenagers. Quarantined in my room, spending a lot more time with my own thoughts, I began reflecting. And I began witnessing the despair & injustice around me with more clarity, whether at the global scale or among my own friends. Influenced by a variety of factors, I delved into mental health advocacy and awareness of LGBTQIA+ Pride. Here are a few projects I've undertaken as a Chapter Head in India for MIST (a global youth-run mental health awareness organization).
"The Storm & The Rainbow" - Organizer & Chief Editor of MIST newsletter // June 2022
